The Kalamazoo Area Soccer League exists solely to foster the participation and growth of men’s adult recreational soccer in the Kalamazoo area. Volunteers, who are also players, and run it on a non-profit basis, operate the KASL. The league is chartered under the auspices of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and the Michigan Soccer Association and will comply with the rules and procedures of those organizations. Team managers shall advise all players who join the KASL of this relationship.
The Kalamazoo Area Soccer League Council consists of an elected Board and a representative of each member team, as selected by that team. All decisions about the league rules, policies and procedures are made by a consensus of the Council at regular, special or ad hoc Council meetings. The Council runs the KASL.
